Financial Planning Services

A financial plan that includes the tax bill, because most do not.

A real financial plan answers the questions that keep you up at night: Are we saving enough? Can we afford this? What happens if something goes wrong? We build that plan with you, covering your goals, cash flow, insurance, education funding, and the path to retirement. What makes ours different is that the plan is built by a CPA, so taxes are part of the plan from day one, not an afterthought you discover in April. When we manage your investments too, the plan, the portfolio, and the tax strategy all move together. Fee-only and flat-fee, with no products and no commissions in the background.

If you are within a decade of retiring, our retirement planning page covers the part of the plan where the money actually gets spent: withdrawal sequencing, Roth conversions, and Social Security timing.

What a plan with us covers

Cash flow and savings rate. What is actually going out, what is going in, and whether the gap supports the life you are planning for.

Retirement timing. Not just whether you can retire, but what changes if you go at 62 rather than 67, and what that does to Social Security and to the tax bill in the years between.

Roth conversions and the years that matter. There is often a window between the end of full-time work and the start of required distributions where income is low and conversions are cheap. That window is easy to miss and impossible to reopen.

Social Security claiming. When to file, how spousal and survivor benefits interact, and what the decision is worth over a full retirement rather than over the first few years.

Education funding. 529s, what they do to financial aid, and how much to put in before you are overfunding an account with restrictions on it.

Insurance and the gaps. Life, disability, and long-term care, sized against what your family would actually need rather than a multiple someone read in a magazine.

How the tax side changes the plan

Two households with identical balance sheets can need completely different plans, because the money sits in different places. A million dollars in a traditional IRA is not a million dollars. The plan has to know the difference between pre-tax, Roth and taxable, and it has to know which account to draw from first in which year.

Since we prepare the return, we see the brackets, the deductions, the capital loss carryforwards and the surprises before they become part of next year’s plan rather than after.

What you get

A complete plan, from cash flow to retirement. Goals, savings, insurance, and education funding, all in one place.

Built by a CPA, with taxes baked in. The tax impact of every decision is part of the plan from day one, not a surprise in April.

Optional investment management, fully coordinated. If we manage the money too, the plan and the portfolio move as one.

Who this is for

Households in or approaching retirement who want the plan, the investments and the tax return coming from one place. Business owners whose company and personal finances are tangled together, where planning for one without the other does not work. Families with a windfall, an inheritance, or a liquidity event who want to get the first decisions right.

How we work

Fee-only and flat-fee. No commissions, no products, nothing to sell you. We are a fiduciary, which is a legal duty rather than a marketing line, and you can verify it.

We are in Center Valley and meeting in person is normal here rather than a special arrangement.

The first conversation is free and is mostly us asking questions. At the end of it you will know whether we are the right fit and roughly what it would cost.
