What We Do
Shetland Advisors was founded in 2020. The official headquarters is in Center Valley, PA, but we currently serve clients across the country. With secure client portals and video meetings we’re happy to work with you no matter where you are.
We are both a registered Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm and a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).
We have three main lines of service:
- We offer tax filing and planning to both individuals and businesses
- We assist businesses with bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, and other accounting needs
- We help craft financial plans and budgets to ensure you can meet your goals, and help manage your investments to keep you on track
About the Founder
Kevin Dodgson is the founder and CEO of Shetland Advisors. He has more than a 15 years of accounting and investment experience.
He began his career in public accounting, before transitioning into the private sector and working for several insurance and financial services firms. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
He currently lives in the Lehigh Valley with his wife, two children, and dog (a Shetland Sheepdog – the firm’s namesake and logo).
